Richelle Prize

Post by shxinny »

Just FYI for anyone interested: https://www.hachette.com.au/news/the-20 ... ng-writers. You only need the first three chapters of a manuscript and a synopsis. The prize is 10k and a year long mentoring relationship with one of Hachette's publishers which may or may not lead to a publishing deal at the end of it all.

It's being going on a few years but this is the first I've heard of it. I know that a few of us are published and therefore disqualified but just putting the link in to see if anyone's interested (anyone who's only self pubbed can enter!)

Yeah I had a look. I think I will be trying for the Commonwealth writers again this year. Anyone can enter and its 2000 - 5000 words. Short list for Last years entries is out in the next few days. :) It has a similar prize. I think it opens for the month of October from memory.
Regards,

Darren
